The night before and morning of your wedding can feel a little overwhelming, but it can also be the most wonderful fun, and where you create some of the most joyful, memories of the entire celebration.

At Rowton Castle, we invite you to gather your closest friends and family and stay the night in our beautiful, exclusive wedding party house, located within the castle itself. Designed to help you relax, unwind and enjoy every moment together, it offers the perfect setting to toast the evening before and wake up refreshed on your wedding morning.

The house includes comfortable overnight accommodation for your wedding party, along with a spacious morning preparation area complete with a full salon. With plenty of space, natural light and dedicated seating, everyone can get ready together in a calm, unhurried atmosphere, completing everything from hair and makeup to final touches, before it’s time to walk down the aisle.

tower house & Orchard Suite

Our night-before accommodation can be found through the huge wooden doors of the gatehouse, and then, across the ancient cobbled courtyard. Rowton Castle’s Orchard Suite is named after a nearby orchard – one which is full of blossom, holding the promise of wonderful things to come.

This suite comes complete with a twin bedroom (which can be set up as a super king if you’d prefer), a luxurious bathroom, and even a full salon – perfect to help you get fully prepared.

The Bedrooms

Up our set of turret stairs, you will find two twin bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms. These rooms can be used the night before your wedding, with their allocation being to whomever you choose – most likely for bridesmaids, or perhaps close family members.

This is a part of our wedding day preparation, ensuring that your closest guests are provided full luxury and comfort, too.

Your Dressing Room

Within our exquisitely designed, exclusive use night-before accommodation, you’ll be able to find your own personal salon. This salon is beautifully lit, while being fully fitted with beauty counters and mirrors for makeup and hair preparation.

There’s also plenty of room, ensuring that everybody can get ready on the morning of your special day.

the 4 pieces of advice you need to know

Picture this, it’s the morning of your wedding and you’re surrounded by your wonderful bridal party sipping prosecco, sharing laughter and soaking up every moment before the big day begins… You’re the most relaxed that you can be, because you’re following these top tips…

One. Have your makeup done near a window for the perfect light.

Two. Get into your dress an hour before your ceremony.

Three. Steam bridesmaid dresses the night before so that hair and makeup doesn’t get ruined.

Four. Ask your bridesmaids to tidy up as you go – you do not want half eaten pastries in the background of your getting-ready photos. Watch out for out of place cushions and dress hangers, too!
