From the first conversation to the final farewell, our team is with you every step of the way. From our on the day managers and front of house, to those members behind the scenes – in the kitchen, garden or office, that you don’t see, but we couldn’t do any of this without – each plays a vital role in creating your day. We promise a seamless experience and a truly unforgettable occasion.
On the Day
On the day itself, one of our operations / assistant managers will take the lead bringing together all aspects of your wedding day. Gareth, Lewis, Ralph, Lucie & Becky know their stuff, and will act as your Master of Ceremonies, too – saving you from having to make any formal announcements. As well as looking after your guests, the on the day team will also liaise with Head Chef John, and his brigade, to ensure a seamless food service.

General Manager
Gareth takes care of the day to day running of the castle. Quite the task. Don’t worry, he’s not hanging up his hammer yet, and will continue to MC from time to time.

John gained a wealth of experience as the castle’s Sous Chef, before becoming Head Chef last year. His in-house team have made amazing advancements in our food offering with him at the helm.
Lewis Bound

A consummate professional with years of experience, Lewis is a true gent. With him taking care of things, you can be confident that everything will run smoothly.
Lucie Jones
Assistant Manager
While Lucie brings a background in floristry – along with the creativity and meticulous attention to detail that goes with it – it’s her delightfully lively personality that will truly leave a lasting impression on your day.

Calm, dependable, and reassuring at every event, Ralph keeps everything running smoothly with a quiet confidence – your day is in safe hands with Ralph around.
Becky Butler
Assistant Manager
Becky may be our newest on-the-day manager, but she’s no stranger to Rowton, having previously gained experience in our Food & Beverage team. Organised and attentive, Becky never misses a beat.
Planning, Sales & Marketing
Whilst you may meet Ceri, Lorraine or Karen when visiting the castle for the very first time, it is Wedding Coordinators Gemma, Corryn & Chloe who will support you during your time of planning and will work with you to create a full itinerary. They are utterly fabulous as what they do and you can be assured that you and your day is in the safest of hands.

Once upon a time, Corryn came to Rowton for her work experience. An Events Management degree later, Corryn is back and is the real deal!
